Job Description:

- In this role, you will lead on-site reliability engineering activities to ensure systems, assets, and programs meet customer, operational, and program requirements.
- You will play a key role in identifying reliability risks, performing failure analyses, and driving long-term, data-driven solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site reliability engineering efforts in Wilmington, MA, ensuring compliance with customer and program requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate system and asset reliability risks that could impact operational performance.
- Conduct detailed failure investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and execute reliability test plans to simulate operational conditions and predict component and system lifespan.
- Apply statistical analysis and reliability modeling techniques to assess current performance and forecast future reliability.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to embed reliability and maintainability into new product development and existing systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide reliability-focused technical input.
- Coordinate with internal program teams, engineering organizations, and external stakeholders as required.
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports, analyses, and presentations.
- Support program activities at other locations as needed (limited travel).
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in reliability engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience conducting reliability testing, validation, and data analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of failure analysis methods, including FMEA, FTA, and RCA.
- Experience using reliability modeling and prediction tools.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with DoD Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) policies and relevant military standards or handbooks is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or higher, as required).
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
